Season Ticket Price Freeze

Chairman Nick Higgs yesterday announced that season ticket prices for the 2012/13 campaign will remain the same for a third consecutive year which, in this financial climate, is great news.

I'm genuinely optimistic and excited about our prospects next year and I get the feeling the Mark McGhee impact, alongside the stadium plans, will get a lot of Gasheads committing to a year of football. I can confirm right here right now that I'll be buying one, but we could be in the Ryman Premier League and I'd still get one! The incentives attached to this year's buying of season tickets revolve around being given priority in choosing your seat in the UWE Stadium, subject to planning permission being received. Not a bad one it must be said.

The fact prices are frozen indicates the club realise how difficult it is for people in the current climate and they want to help by making watching Bristol Rovers affordable. The savings that can be made by buying a season ticket instead of paying on the gate is huge, so if you can possibly afford it, you should make the most of it.

The Mem. Can it be home to a promotion campaign next year?

I'll be buying mine next week, what about you Gasheads?
