Rovers Draw Blades!

The FA Cup First Round draw took place this Sunday lunchtime and provided Rovers with a home tie against League One big boys Sheffield United. Danny Wilson's team, third in the division, will head down to the Mem on the weekend of November 3rd/4th - with Saturday being the most likely day unless chosen for television coverage.

Sheffield United await in round 1 of FA Cup
It's as big a game as we could have hoped for at this stage but does provide us with arguably the toughest opposition. Dave Kitson and co. won't relish a trip south-west in a fortnight's time and the makings are there for a potential upset if we continue our good run of form. They do possess a good travelling army of supporters and it is guaranteed over 1 thousand of them will come through the turnstiles, meaning it should be a very decent crowd.

All in all we have to be pleased with that, don't we? The players will be up for it, that's for sure. But we have two massive league games between now and FA Cup weekend, beginning with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday evening.

Up the Gas!
