The news we've all been waiting for Gasheads... the Secretary of State, Eric Pickles, has confirmed he will not be be calling in the Sainbury's application and therefore approves the development.
There were doubts as to this happening so soon with several delays in a decision that was originally meant to have been made inside 21 days after permission was granted by Bristol City Council, but Tuesday 12th March 2013 has gone down as another important day in the history of Bristol Rovers. We've got it Gasheads, Sainsbury's now only have to sort out section 106 agreements with the council before everything can be completed.
One more step Gasheads but this was the big one we needed to overcome!
