Rovers U18s Reach National Final

Pat Keary captained the side to a 1-0 victory over Watford
Huge credit to Rovers' youth team this evening for defeating their counterparts from Watford to reach the national final where they will play Carlisle United.

The team have enjoyed a very successful season and defeated Watford courtesy of an own goal from Jorell Johnson after a dangerous free-kick had been delivered by Danny Greenslade. It was a deserved Gas victory at the Memorial Stadium and Jamie Lucas was close to adding gloss to the win when he struck a post but it didn't matter in the end.

It's great to see young prospects prospering in our youth team and it certainly bodes well for the future. Well done to U18s manager Alan Walsh and his players.
