City Tickets Close To Selling Out

The 2500 tickets Rovers were given for Wednesday's Bristol derby are close to selling out. As of this morning less than 100 tickets remained for the JPT 1st round clash at Ashton Gate and they hadn't even reached general sale.

We were given 2250 tickets in our initial allocation and a further 250 tickets were made available yesterday afternoon. There is a reduced capacity at Ashton Gate for the fixture as a result of segregation in the East End, where both Rovers and City fans will be housed. Tickets have been selling quickly for home supporters too and it is anticipated that the game will be close to a sell-out by the time it comes around next midweek.

It is an all-ticket clash and it will be shown live on Sky Sports.
