Ward Wants Experienced Assistant

Lifted from: www.thisisbristol.co.uk
John Ward has seemingly quashed speculation that the club will look to appoint a young assistant manager by stating he wants somebody with 'experience' of management. He admits that he hasn't spoken with anyone so far but a few people have enquired with an interest in taking the post.

Ward's criteria is that they must have experience of management and getting out of this division, which rules out Andy Tillson and promoting Marcus Stewart. It could be a bluff but I doubt he would make such a statement if he was just going to select Tillson or Stewart.

The club want the new man in place before pre-season training begins on June 20th.
