Glovers In Pre-Season

A second local derby against league opposition was announced in our pre-season schedule today, as we take on Yeovil Town at the end of July. Our trip to Huish Park comes a week before we face bitter rivals Bristol City.

There's a very local feel to our summer fixtures and it's clear Mark McGhee thinks keeping things close to home will benefit the side ahead of the season kicking off in mid-August. Interesting to note that we're travelling to Huish Park as opposed to playing them at the Mem as it would suggest the club don't feel the pitch will be ready for us to use. Best to give it as long as possible to bed in, so a sensible decision.

The game takes place on Saturday July 28th with a 12pm kick-off.
