John-Joe O'Toole Signs On

BBC Radio Bristol sports reporter Ali Durden this morning took to Twitter to say Rovers had agreed a deal with Colchester to loan central midfielder John-Joe O'Toole. He will be registered, along with Tom Hitchcock, in time to face Plymouth at the Mem tomorrow afternoon. Both will sign for a month initially.

O'Toole and Hitchock will be the first of many moves this January although hopefully we'll see a few more permanent moves instead of short-term loans. Long-term deals cannot be completed until January 2nd.
